Meet the AttorneysWho Will Defend You

Deandra M. Grant
Deandra M. Grant has defended Texas DWI and criminal cases since 1993. She began as a Dallas County prosecutor, learned how the State builds these cases from the inside, and then built the firm that now carries her name across six offices in North and Central Texas.
What separates her from most defense lawyers is the science. She holds a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Science and a Graduate Certificate in Forensic Toxicology from the University of Florida, and she has earned the American Chemical Society's ACS-CHAL Forensic Lawyer-Scientist designation. She is also a trained NHTSA Standardized Field Sobriety Testing instructor, which means she teaches the roadside tests she later takes apart on cross-examination, and she grades other attorneys' board certification exams.
She wrote The Texas DWI Manual, the James Publishing treatise other Texas defense lawyers keep on their desks, now in its 13th edition, along with 16 more books on DWI and criminal defense law. She serves as Executive Director of the DUI Defense Lawyers Association.
The Attorneys Beside Her
Every case at this firm is handled by a lawyer who tries cases. Six attorneys work alongside Deandra across the Dallas, Fort Worth, Allen, Denton, Rockwall, and Waco offices, covering DWI, felony trial work, and federal defense.
