The Dallas County District Attorney runs specialized prosecution units for violent crimes, drug offenses, family violence, and sex crimes, staffed by prosecutors who try the same category of case every day. A defense here has to be built to that standard.
Our Dallas team is led by partner Douglas Huff, an ACS-CHAL Forensic Lawyer-Scientist with digital forensics training, alongside managing partner Deandra Grant, a former Dallas County Assistant District Attorney with more than 30 years in these courts. When the State builds its case on forensic evidence, whether that is a lab report, a phone extraction, or a lineup, we examine the underlying records ourselves rather than accepting the summary.

We defend criminal cases from every corner of Dallas County: Dallas itself plus Garland, Irving, Mesquite, Grand Prairie, Carrollton, Richardson, Rowlett, DeSoto, Duncanville, Cedar Hill, and Lancaster. If the arrest happened in Dallas County, the case lands at Frank Crowley, and that is a building we work in every week. A few of these cities cross a county line, so a stop on the Rockwall County side of Rowlett or the Denton County side of Carrollton is heard in that county instead. We appear in those courts too.
Every charge we defend here has its own walkthrough: Dallas DWI Lawyer, Dallas Assault & Domestic Violence Lawyer, Dallas Drug Crimes Lawyer, Dallas Sex Crimes Lawyer, and Dallas Federal Criminal Defense Lawyer.
The same attorneys handle these charges across the same courthouses.
A DWI arrest starts two cases at once, and the science is where both are won. It is the largest share of our practice.
