Deandra Grant Law Welcomes Attorney Kacey Simmons
Please join us in welcoming Kacey Simmons to the Deandra Grant Law criminal defense team at our Dallas headquarters.
Kacey was raised in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and found her calling in advocacy on the Frisco CTE Mock Trial Team. She graduated summa cum laude in Philosophy from Texas A&M University. She then earned her Juris Doctor from The University of Texas School of Law, where she won multiple national mock trial championships. She also received the Niemann Cup, awarded to the graduating student recognized as the law school’s top overall advocate. She interned with the Collin County and Dallas County District Attorney’s Offices before turning that trial training toward defending the accused.

She holds a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Science and a Graduate Certificate in Forensic Toxicology, both from the University of Florida. She is the author of The Texas DWI Manual and has defended Texas DWI cases since 1994.
