Attorney Grant Named to 2020 Texas Super Lawyers List

At Deandra Grant Law – Criminal & DWI Defense, we are doubly excited to share that not only has Attorney Deandra M. Grant been selected to the 2020 Texas Super Lawyers list, but she has also been named to the Top 50: 2020 Women Texas Super Lawyers list. This is the ninth year she has received the honor of being a Super Lawyers list selectee, as she was also awarded the accolade in 2011 – 2012 and 2014 – 2020. This is also the third time Attorney Grant has been chosen to the Top 50: Women Texas Super Lawyers list; she was selected for inclusion in 2016, 2017, and 2018. We are so proud of the effort and dedication attorney grant puts into every case she handles and her commitment to delivering an exceptional client experience.

How Are Attorneys Selected to the Super Lawyers List?

Every year, Super Lawyers releases a list of attorneys in each state who have shown outstanding achievement. The organization develops the list to help match potential clients with legal representation for their specific needs.

To be named to the list, an attorney must pass through the patented Super Lawyers selection process, which involves the following steps:

• Nominations: Attorneys are either nominated by peers who have seen their work in action or through Super Lawyers’ independent research process. A lawyer cannot nominate themselves, and the organization has measures in place to ensure the nominations are done fairly.
• Research: After receiving nominations, Super Lawyers then researches the candidates and evaluates them on 12 factors of performance and achievement. The indicators include areas such as verdicts/settlements and honors/awards, and they vary in their maximum point values.
• Peer review: The attorneys who receive the highest points in steps one and two are invited to serve on a “blue ribbon panel,” where they review other lawyers in their respective fields.
• Selection to list: The attorneys with the highest scores are then selected to the Super Lawyers list. Only 5% of lawyers in each state are chosen for inclusion.

The “Top” lists are composed of the lawyers with the highest points from the 5-step Super Lawyers list selection process.
