At Deandra Grant Law – Criminal & DWI Defense we meet a lot of people who have had to overcome challenges in their lives. We have great respect for the “second chance”. 
We are offering the Deandra Grant Law – Criminal & DWI Defense Scholarship to support those who have overcome challenges and are pursuing higher education. This scholarship in the amount of $1,000 can be used for tuition and other educational expenses at a college or university of your choice.

The deadline for our scholarship is February 1 of each year.

Am I Eligible to Apply?

You may apply for the Deandra Grant Law – Criminal & DWI Defense Scholarship if the following statements are true:
  • You are currently enrolled in, or have been accepted to, an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited university or college in the U.S.
  • Your college or university education will continue through the semester
  • You are 18 years of age or older
  • Your current cumulative GPA is at least 3.0

How do I Apply?

For your application to be considered, you will need to submit an essay of 500 to 1,000 words on the following topic:

Describe a challenge you have overcome on your pursuit of higher education and how it has impacted your life and plans for the future.

Email application directly to deandra@defenseisready.com. 

With your essay, you will also need to submit your most recent high school or college academic transcript, a headshot and contact information including your name, address, phone number and email address.
