Corinth is a community of approximately 24,000 residents in southern Denton County, situated along the I-35E corridor between Denton and Lewisville. Its location on the interstate makes it one of the most active DWI and drug interdiction enforcement areas in the county. The Corinth Police Department patrols I-35E, FM 2181 (Teasley Lane), Lake Sharon Drive, and the surrounding commercial corridors. Every criminal and DWI case arising from Corinth is prosecuted by the Denton County District Attorney’s office and heard at the Denton County Courts Building.

Why the Science Behind Your Case Matters
Most defense attorneys challenge DWI and criminal evidence through legal argument. Deandra Grant Law challenges it through the science.
- Blood testing: DPS Garland lab for alcohol cases. GC-FID methodology, in vitro fermentation, sodium fluoride adequacy, chain of custody, analyst qualifications — challenged at the level of the chemistry.
- Drug cases: DPS Austin lab, Armstrong Forensic Laboratory, or NMS for drug analysis. Presence is not impairment. Pharmacokinetic analysis requiring graduate-level pharmaceutical science training is how drug impairment evidence is properly challenged.

Courthouse: Denton County Courts Building, 1450 E McKinney St, Denton, TX 76209. Misdemeanor cases are heard in the County Criminal Courts. Felony cases go to the district courts. Our Denton office is directly across the street.
Federal cases: Corinth and Denton County are in the Eastern District of Texas. Attorney James Lee Bright handles federal defense in the Eastern District.
