Jada Fairley is an attorney with a deep-rooted commitment to criminal defense and advocating for the rights of others. A native of Mississippi, Jada recognized her calling to the practice of law at the young age of 14 after witnessing firsthand how quickly a single decision—or being in the wrong place at the wrong time—can alter the course of someone’s life. Those early experiences fueled her determination to become a zealous advocate for others and to ensure that every person has a voice in the justice system.
After graduating as Salutatorian of her high school class, Jada attended Alcorn State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice, graduating Magna Cum Laude and completing her degree ahead of schedule. Her decision to study criminal justice was guided by her belief that truly understanding the system from every angle is essential to becoming a skilled and effective criminal defense attorney. Her academic foundation in criminal justice provides her with a comprehensive understanding of the justice system and its complexities, knowledge she continues to draw upon in her legal practice.
Jada went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center. During law school, she served as a Legal Fellow for the Southern University Office of Strategic Partnerships and Innovation, working with the Expungement Clinic to help individuals overcome the barriers of past convictions and move forward with their lives. She also served on the SBA Diversity Committee Board and as a mentor in the Peer-to-Peer Mentorship Program, demonstrating her ongoing commitment to service and leadership within her community.
Jada is a member of the State Bar of Texas and continues to pursue her passion for criminal defense with the same drive and compassion that inspired her career path.
Outside of her legal practice, Jada enjoys reading, playing the piano, and exploring her passion for cooking and trying new cuisines. She also finds fulfillment in mentoring and providing career coaching through a nonprofit organization that is geared towards helping individuals seeking to create new opportunities and pursue meaningful career paths to achieve their professional and personal goals.
