Overview

Deandra Grant Law – Fort Worth serves clients across Tarrant County and the surrounding communities who are facing DWI, criminal, and federal charges. Our office sits on Airport Freeway, just minutes from the Tim Curry Criminal Justice Center at 401 W. Belknap Street, where Tarrant County’s criminal cases are heard. Tarrant County runs one of the largest and best-resourced prosecution offices in North Texas, with specialized units for DWI, family violence, sexual assault, and major crimes, so it helps to have a trial-ready defense team that knows these courts and sits close to the courthouse.

The firm’s edge is a science-first approach to the evidence. Managing Partner Deandra Grant is an ACS-CHAL Forensic Lawyer-Scientist with a Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Science, and our attorneys challenge breath and blood testing at the level of the chemistry rather than relying on legal argument alone. That can change the direction of a Fort Worth DWI case. Use this page for our address, hours, and directions, or call anytime for a free, confidential consultation.

I’m so appreciative of working with Deandra Grant Law. I had the pleasure to work with Sorsha and Kevin, both were very supportive and communicative throughout the process. My needs were unique given that I am a veteran and had to work with the Veteran’s Treatment Court which required quite a bit of red tape to work through and I’m glad I had this firm to ensure my acceptance into the Veteran’s Treatment Court. Thank you and I totally recommend this firm to all especially my fellow veterans.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Where are Tarrant County criminal cases heard?

Tarrant County criminal cases are handled at the Tim Curry Criminal Justice Center, 401 W. Belknap Street, Fort Worth, TX 76196. Our Airport Freeway office is a short drive away and our attorneys appear there regularly.

Is a Tarrant County DWI handled differently than in Dallas?

Each county has its own prosecutors, judges, and local practices, and Tarrant County’s approach to plea offers and pretrial programs can differ from Dallas County’s. An attorney who works in the Tim Curry center routinely knows what to expect.

What should I do right after a Fort Worth DWI arrest?

Request your ALR hearing within 15 days to protect your license, avoid discussing the case with anyone but your lawyer, and call us so we can begin reviewing the stop and the test results immediately.

Can you handle a case in Arlington or the mid-cities?

Yes. The Fort Worth office serves all of Tarrant County, including Arlington and the northeast suburbs, and your case will still be heard in the appropriate Tarrant County court.

Do you challenge breath and blood test results?

Yes — it’s central to how we work. The firm’s lawyer-scientist background means we routinely examine how samples were taken, stored, and analyzed, and whether the testing followed proper procedure.

Are consultations free in Fort Worth?

Yes. Consultations are free and confidential, available in person at the Fort Worth office or by phone and video.
